C2C Square – Make
4
Ch 6
Row 1:
Hdc in 3th ch from hook and in next 2 ch; turn – 1 block made.
Row 2: Ch
6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch, slip st in ch 3 space of previous
row, ch 2, 3 hdc in space; turn –2 blocks made.
Size S/M: Repeat row 2 until square measures approximately 18”
Size L/XL: Repeat row 2 until square measures approximately 20”
Custom size (smaller or larger): Repeat row 2 to desired size.
Note:
When measuring make sure it’s corner to corner.
Decrease
Slip st across first
3 hdc, * (slip st, ch 3, 3 hdc) all in next ch-3 space of previous row; repeat
from * to last ch-3 space; slip st in last space; turn, do NOT make a block in
last space. Sc around all squares
putting 2 hdc, ch1, 2 hdc in each corner, finish off.
Note: When
sc around make sure to have the same amount of st’s on all sides. 48 is the number
I have.
Now you need to lay
out all four squares starting at outside edges, working inwards seam 6 inches leaving
the rest unseamed.
Strap
Note:
Make sure your straps are not to long, other wise you will have a really low
cut shirt, more like a too low cut shirt.
Join
yarn to the ch-1 space in any corner.
Row
1: 4 hdc in ch-1 space. Turn.
Row
2: Ch-2, hdc in each st. Turn.
Repeat
row 2 until strap measures approximately 10 inches then match the corner and
attach it to other square corner with 4 hdc in ch 1 space, finish off, do the
same thing to the other side.
Note: You might want to try
on the tank top before you finish off.
Now hdc around the
edges of neck and arms until it fit right, also if it is not long enough you
can hdc around the bottom but make sure you put 2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc in the
corners. Enjoy.
